What is your goal to work in the U.S.A.?

My goal in the USA is to expand my personal development, learn new skills and widen my personal network along with experiencing a different culture and lifestyle and potentially different industries of work to enhance my skill set as a working professional.

This is a face-to-face and business-to-business sales position for an external utilities client (Scottish Power), the job objective was to switch customers’ existing gas and electric provider to our clients company.

Joining this company I initially started as a face-to-face ticket seller, host, and bartender. I was eventually promoted to a team leader, and then on to an assistant manager.

This was a self employed company where i worked part time during university. My main role was to assist in labour work such as plastering, gutting rooms, painting and decorating and another manual labour jobs such as cleaning up finished projects.

This is a health supplement shop and is independently run by a family member. I work a few hours a week here and i am a shops supervisor. I make sales; I use the till and stock the shelves. With my knowledge of sports i am able to guide customers towards the right products.

Market stall operative

This was a weekend job whilst at high school, and i would work on market stalls selling products such as fruit and veg, and every other weekend i would sell clothes. 

My role for this was to set up the stalls at 6am using metal framework and cover the stall with nylon sheets to waterproof the stall, from 9-5 i would be a customer service adviser helping customers with purchasing products and handling cash. 

At 5.30 am we would close the stall, and pack it all up into HGV vehicles.
